Updated on June 20, 2013

Want the Best SEO Toolbar or Analytical Tool?

Then I have just one question to ask all you other bloggers, vloggers, curators, site owners, and online writers, have you downloaded your free SEO Quake toolbar yet? If you are a blogger, vlogger, curator, site owner, or a content writer online and haven’t downloaded your SEO Quake tool bar yet, what are you waiting for? Don’t you know how much it can help you with your search engine optimization (SEO)? Okay so that was three questions, but that doesn’t matter, what matters is that you go to the SEO Quake website and download your SEO Quake toolbar. Now you’re probably wondering why it is so important that a blogger, vlogger, curator, website owner, or content writer should download the SEO Quake toolbar, as I am insisting upon it so much. It all has to do with some white hat SEO techniques (search engine optimization) that I picked up while earning my degree in web design. Let me tell you a few of the benefits that a blogger, vlogger, website owner, curator, or content writer could gain from downloading the SEO Quake tool bar.

An SEO Toolbar Web Analytics Tool to Cover All Your SEO Analytics Needs

Let’s start with the fact that the SEO Quake tool bar is a free download from SEOQuake, and we (as bloggers, vloggers, curators, site owners and content writers) should all know how SEO Quake's rankings on our blog, vlog, or website pages of miscellaneous content can give us an idea as to why our blog, vlog, or web site content has the SERP (search engine rank position) it has on all the major search engines like Yahoo, Google, and Bing. Moreover, how to improve search engine ranking to not only increase traffic, but receive more targeted traffic from your target market, which will naturally bring you more leads and more money from ad revenue.

Once you download the SEO Quake toolbar, you will have easy access to see the search engine rank of any competitor blogger, vlogger, website owner, curator, or content writer pages, how many IBL's (inbound links, also called backlinks) your competitors have, the IBL's to the web site page you are visiting currently, plus every time you do a search on any of the major search engines like Yahoo, Google, and Bing, the search results will display the search engine ranking information for each search result listing.

Think Alexa Ranking Is Just as Good as SEO Quake?

With this SEO tool you can view a back link report from the SEMrush website, (although, unless you are a paying customer, you will have a limit).

For those of you who may be saying, "Oh well the toolbar from Alexa Rank provides you with pretty much the same competitor, site, and SE (search engine) and web analytics information, so why should I switch from Alexa Rank?" I have several reasons, however, I'll only bore you with two very good reasons why you should switch from the Alexa Rank toolbar to the SEO Quake toolbar. You see, Alexa Rank gathers their web analytics data from people who have downloaded the toolbar and use the toolbar and from websites who have registered their site with Alexa, which means the "Alexa Ranking" is not that accurate, as not everyone who goes online uses the Alexa Rank toolbar nor does every site owner register with Alexa. On the other hand you have SEO Quake, who not only will provide the Alexa Ranking, but provides other web analytics data that is not dependent upon the users of the SEO toolbar or registered site owner. I wanted to know more about how the analytics were gathered so I sent the SEO Quake team an email asking them just that, and according to David Black from the SEOquake team, "The basic functions of SEOquake are carried out by pulling data from several sources including SEMrush to serve the analytics you see in all of the parameters on the toolbar. Some of the more advanced functions like discovering the keyword density of a webpage requires the software to break down the website so that we can apply our own mathematical models to it."

This SEO tool also allows you to view back links through the external links tab on the tool bar, though I noticed it's not quite as informative as the SEMrush analytics data, you are able to see the page rank for each external link (back link) shown.

The other SEO analytics provided by SEOQuake is the second reason you should switch from Alexa. Not only do you get to see a competitor sites number of IBL's, the IBL's of the webpage you're currently visiting, ranking information for each search result listing in the major search engines, etc., but you can choose by setting parameters in SEOQuake to see how many google plus 1's as well as facebook likes a competitor or you have on your webpage, keyword density, SEMrush rank, see a diagnosis of what elements in your website are ailing or aiding your SERP plus some other parameters that could be beneficial to improve search engine ranking and increase traffic to your sites.

Why these Web Analytics are Important to SEO

Now if you don’t know why knowing all that information would matter to a blogger, web site owner, curator, content writer, etc., in regards to search engine optimization, then let me just tell you how you can use that web analytics information to your benefit, so that your vlog, website, etc., will be more search engine friendly and have a higher page rank.

Knowing your competitors search engine ranking, inbound links, etc., is important if you ever want your vlog or web site SERP to be above your competitors in the search engines. This information allows you to see how the search engine ranks the relevancy of each listing in regards to the topic of the search term throughout the content of the listing as well as the inbound links going to that listing. Thus, giving you a rough percentage of what portions of your competitors page rank is based on keywords used in their blog, vlog, article, etc., and what percentage is based on inbound links so that you can surpass the keywords and amount of inbound links that your competitor uses to improve search engine ranking.

You're Still Here? Your Website is Waiting to be Optimized & the SEO Toolbar from SEOQuake Will Speed Up the Process of Making Your Page Search Engine Friendly.

Now that you know how to use your competitor’s traffic data to benefit your blog or content, bookmark this page and get over to the SEO Quake website to get your free download of their SEO toolbar, which works on all the major Internet browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera) because you have some traffic data to gather if you want to get the page ranking for your blog or content above your competitors.
